● CDC Balloon Caddis
Hook: MARUTO d31 #12, #14
CDC: Mayfly Yellow, Light Brown, Light Black
Antenna: Pheasant tail fiber
This is a caddis pattern fly using only CDC for everything except the antenna. The body is made by twisting CDC. The CDC is attached to the body as a balloon shape with the quill, creating a three-dimensional effect. It is very light and floats well on the water surface, allowing you to enjoy the fish's reaction, and it is also highly visible. Please be careful as the antenna is prone to breaking if pulled.
It has been treated for water repellency, but if its buoyancy decreases, please dry it frequently with a desiccant or rotate it as needed for drying.
Please note that the color of the actual product may differ slightly from the photo due to the effect of light. Please understand that as this is a handmade item, there may be variations in finish. We encourage those interested to consider it.
